AFI nominates Little Miss Sunshine

The American Film Institute Nominated Little Miss Sunshine as one of the best movies of the year. The awards dinner will be held on Jan 12th and I imagine a winner will be chosen. If you would like to view the other films that were selected, AFI has posted them on their website.  I know Steve Carell has gotten a lot of great reviews for the film. What are your thoughts about Little Miss Sunshine?

Gravatar I liked Little Miss Sunshine a lot more than I thought I would. (Same with 40 year old virgin. Maybe I underestimate Steve's movies until I watch them.) I thought his character had a lot of depth, and it was very refreshing to see him in such a dramatic, more serious role. The movie in general had good character development... plus I can be a sucker for road trip movies that don't suck. :)
